Shailja Gangrade

Course Title: Ocean Ecosystem Dynamics

Shailja is a PhD student with several outreach, teaching, and instruction experiences both formally and informally at the K-12, undergraduate, and graduate academic levels. She has a strong background in Oceanography and Marine Science, and has participated and coordinated many outreach events. Her varied experiences include teaching ocean/climate science lessons, leading hands-on activities and experiments, and mentoring students on research projects. These skills allow her to successfully lead lectures, activities, and guide students on group projects and presentations.
