Nicholas Pacetti

Course Title: Introduction to Human Emotion

Nicholas Pacetti is a PhD student in the history program at UC San Diego. His research interests are the Medieval Mediterranean, specifically cultural hybridity between Christian and Muslim communities. He is currently studying 11th and 12th century Arabic atlases as an example of interreligious communication resulting in long-term changes in Medieval scientific fields and allowing for the transmission of scientific thought across the Mediterranean. Nicholas has been working as a TA in graduate school for 3 years now and previously worked as an Arabic language instructor.
