Michael Jones

Course Title: Music, Life and Knowledge

Michael Jones is a doctoral candidate in the Music Department at UC San Diego. He received his Masters in Contemporary Performance from UC San Diego in 2020 and received his Bachelor of Music both in Percussion Performance and Music Management from the University of Hartford in 2017. They also have extensive experience as a musical performer and dance accompanist. They have performed in various orchestral/large ensembles, chamber, and non-western musical ensembles since 2012.
