Jeffrey Mankey

Course Title: Introduction to Fluid Mechanical Engineering: From a Straw to an Airplane

Jeffrey Mankey is a Ph.D. candidate in the Aerospace Engineering Department at the University of California, San Diego. His was a subamrine officer in the US Navy and served in various capacities on the USS Nevada. He was also appointed as an Advisor for Military and Energy by Governor Edmund Brown, Jr. to assist California's efforts in supporting national defense and in advancing alternative energy and transportation.

Jeffrey has taught various nuclear power training lecutres aboard the USS Nevada, where he was a Submarine Officer from 2004-2007. He also taught Physics 1C Lab at the University of California, San Diego.
