Caroline Miller

Course Title: Experiments in Music Composition and Theory

Caroline Miller earned her Ph.D. in Music Composition and her MA in Music at University of California, San Diego. Before coming to UCSD for Grad School, she worked at a Community Music Academy (in Kansas City), where she participated in an outreach program called Musical Bridges. She taught a diverse population of high school students music theory and composition as part of an after-school program. She interned and served as a mentor for a summer composition camp in 2010, working with pre-teens and teens on developing composition skills.
