Professional Background
Ana Carrete earned her MA in Spanish Linguistics and Literature from San Diego State
University. She has taught language, literature and writing since 2011 to children and adults. She specializes in maximizing interdisciplinary learning opportunities in diverse classroom settings. Creative and compassionate literature for and by POCs are always a part of her curriculum. She emphasizes dialogue, collaboration, and innovation.
