Academic Connections Online Courses

Online courses are $1,500 each. There is no application fee. 

Academic Connections Residential 

All application fees are non-refundable and due when you submit your application. The tuition balance must be paid in full within 30 days of your acceptance to hold your reservation in the program. Payment plans are available, but must be requested when accepted into the program.

• San Diego 3 Week Residential Program 
  
  • $100 non-refundable application fee
  • $5,950 tuition, course materials, activities, housing, meal-plan (transportation to move in and move out from UC San Diego is not included) 

Academic Connections - Online Courses

Program information will be e-mailed to all students accepted to Academic Connections. Students will be notified within 5-7 days of submitting their applications. The student will receive a Student Handbook that should be reviewed with parents and the last page signed and returned to Academic Connections in a timely manner. 

Academic Connections - Residential Program

Online Courses Cancellation Policy

Students will have up until July 3, 2024 to request a cancellation and receive a full refund.

No refunds will be provided after July 3, 2024.

Residential Program Cancellation Policy

Cancellation or withdrawal for any reason prior to April 5, 2024 will receive a $2,150 refund.

Cancellation or withdrawal for any reason April 8- May 31 2024 will receive $1,075 refund

Refunds for cancellation or withdrawal after May 31, 2024 will be issued for serious illness (doctor's certificate is required) or extenuating circumstances only. Tuition is not refunded for students who are dismissed from the program or who leave because of homesickness.

All refund requests must be made in writing to Maysoon Dong, Associate Director, UCSD Pre-College Programs at: academicconnections@ucsd.edu. You will receive a confirmation of your request. Refunds will take approximately 4-6 weeks to process. Refunds are issued in the same method of payment (check or charge) of payment to UC San Diego Academic Connections.

International students interested in the online program will only have to pay the online course fees and the optional SAT Test Prep fee.

• American citizens living in foreign countries apply through the application process as listed above and do not need to apply through Academic Connections International. Domestic Applications fees and Domestic tuition rates apply.
