Course taught: Introduction to Journalism and Journalism Practicum.
This course sought to expose students to the foundations of journalism and the craft's two main components – reporting and writing the news. Students confronted the role of the press in a democratic society, explored sensitive ethical issues, and considered their own (possible) future roles in the communication industry.
