Perform tasks as assigned ranging from academic research assistantship to administrative support.

El Programa Hispano/Catholic Charities
Portland, OR (January 2006-August 2007)
Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Case Manager for Latina Survivors
Managed cases for long-term (6-18 month), culturally specific transitional housing program for survivors of domestic and sexual violence. Responsible for case management meetings, creation of service and safety plans, and promotion of self-sufficiency. Answered 24-hour bilingual crisis line for Domestic and Sexual violence, administered budget for programmatic expenses, and collaborated for community outreach and advocacy for the Latino community.

Mediated and facilitated diverse meetings in English and Spanish to empower and assist families in the Child Welfare system. Gathered information, organized, and prepared meetings. Worked to develop concrete and comprehensive plans and goals for individual families.
