Polus Center for Social and Economic Development, Director of International Programs
Project director and grant manager for the following US Department of State Office of Weapons Removal and Abatement grants; program manager and grant manager for the following US Agency for International Development supported grants; liaison with the US Dept. of State Office of Weapons Removal and Abatement (Humanitarian Mine Action Partnerships Program) and private foundations; supervision of project coordinators and interns in US office and in-country directors (Central America, Ethiopia, & Zambia) in the preparation of quarterly and annual reports, meeting project objectives, and new project development; consultant on PROINTE-the Economic Integration Project, an Inter-American Foundation funded initiative implemented by the Foundation for Walking Unidos (FURWUS) in Leon, Nicaragua.

2002 - 2003
Polus Center for Social and Economic Development, International Programs Coordinator
Liaison between the Center and in-country program directors and partnering NGOs; conduct site visits to programs in Nicaragua and participated in community planning processes with local grassroots organizations.

Trained and supervised staff and volunteers for a small group home for at-risk teenage boys; served as principal liaison between the group home and schools, social workers, and parents; primary live-in counselor responsible for the well-being of eight youths; responsible for house budget, staffing schedule, and organization
