5/05-Present, Project Manager, Alcohol and Other Drugs Initiatives, San Diego State University
Manage web survey research to evaluate reductions in college student alcohol use, Manage IRB submissions, Manage field research on designated driver programs, Research and compile survey measures. Analyze data from program evaluations in order to write journal manuscripts.
9/04 – 5/05, Research Assistant, Alcohol and Other Drugs Initiatives, San Diego State University Assisted in data management and analysis of alcohol and other drug use; assisted with IRB submissions; conducted literature reviews for grant and manuscript writing; and held educational sessions on campus regarding alcohol and other drug use.
6/04 – 9/04, Public Health Intern, Health and Human Services Agency, County of San Diego
Conducted community assessment of HIV risk; and created a media campaign to increase HIV testing, including website, brochure, poster, and palm card development.

Counseled students on sexual health issues; conducted pre and post test HIV counseling sessions; held informational sessions on pelvic exams; created student health brochures; and updated program training literature.
