Tae Hwang

Course Title: Borderland Reporters: An Investigation & Book Publication with Actual Hot Air Balloon Construction

Tae Hwang is a graduate of UC San Diego’s Visual Arts MFA Program. She is a co-artist and co-founder of the international art entity, Collective Magpie. “Magpie” has produced synergistic public art works and events in a broad range of integrated media, aimed at inspiring interaction and wonder in galleries and public spaces throughout North America. Tae received her BFA in Painting and Drawing at The School of the Art Institute of Chicago. She has over 10 years experience as a freelance designer and illustrator.
