Rials Christensen

Course Title: Scripps Institution of Oceanography: Introduction to Paleontology

Rials Christensen is a graduate student at Scripps Institution of Oceanography in the Geosciences Research Division. She analyzes foraminiferal assemblages as a part of a joint project with the U.S. Geological Survey. She completed an undergraduate degree from the University of Utah with a BS in Environmental Geoscience. She's interested in a broad spectrum of science disciplines including paleoceanography, micropaleontology, and climate modelling, with experience in sediment core drilling and processing, field mapping, ecological fieldwork, paleomagnetics, sedimentology, and paleobiology.
